Nuclear Power for the Arctic

Abstract
A brief history of the Army's nuclear power and Arctic research and development programs is followed by the merging of the two by the installation of the PM-2A nuclear power plant in Camp Century, Greenland. Engineering problems and solutions related to the installation and operation of the plant in this unique environment are covered.
