Some Aspects of Surface Water Wave Scale Effects

Abstract
A study of the scale effects due to surface tension for model studies of water gravity waves generated by a moving pressure disturbance is presented. The region of the wave system, generated by the moving pressure disturbance in which scale effects occur, has been determined by explain in the physical meaning of the asymptotes occurring in the fish-line problem.
