Abstract
There are many places at which the work of the Engineer and that of the Lawyer overlap, but possibly there is no department of his professional activities in which the Civil Engineer has more specific need to use either his own or another's knowledge of the law than in land surveying. Especially is this true in the re-establishment of lost or disputed boundaries.
