Abstract
The question of the subdivision of land within city limits after a city layout has been established, becomes one dependent on the desires of those who wish to purchase such land, and on the absorbing power of the purchasers. The inrush for higher pay, to cities constructed for manufactures, drew people from many of the rural districts, and congestion has been brought about thereby.
