Indirect Estimation of Hydrologic Parameters

Abstract
Parameters of multiple series of monthly streamflows, which describe the expectation and covariance structure of series, can be estimated on ungaged sites by using the simple geomorphologic parameters. This allows a simulation of new hydrologic samples of multiple series at sites with no runoff records. The study is based on the analysis of river data for the Emilia-Romagna Region in Italy, mostly including the right side tributaries of the River Po.
