Plotting Positions for Hydrologic Frequencies

Abstract
The objective herein is the development of a formula for plotting the frequencies of annual floods, or other comparable data, which will lead to a graphical solution as nearly the same as possible as the computed log-Pearson Type III curve, recommended by the Hydrology Committee of the Water Resources Council as a base method.
