Abstract
Studies of cause of melting of snow pack made for several years in three laboratory areas located in high mountains of western United States; data obtained are analyzed and correlated; procedures found for rational analysis of snowmelt in relatively small basin; application will be enlarged to cover large parts of Columbia Basin.
