Particle Size Distribution of Soils

Abstract
The test for obtaining the particle size distribution of soils has been regarded as a relatively simple operation. However, experience over many years has shown that, like other tests on soils, it is likely to be attended by errors in the absence of close attention to the procedures used in the tests.
