Selection of Chemical Grout for Mattmark Dam

Abstract
The evaluation and eventual choice of a chemical grout will be described by the actual procedure used for the grout curtain of Mattmark Dam. Mattmark Dam, which is part of a hydroelectric power system, is located in southeastern Switzerland at an altitude of 2,100 m; it is a rockfilldam with a maximum height of 117 m, a maximum length of 780 m, and a volume of 10,000,000 cu m.
