Abstract
The paper describes the underseepage problems at Allegheny Reservoir Dam and presents the various remedial measures considered. An account of the selection of the remedial measures adopted and of the construction details for installation of the 2.5-ft thick concrete cutoff wall are given. Piezometer data are reported indicating the validity of the solution, and conclusions as to the use of the cutoff wall are presented.
