Soil Properties Research Inventory

This report presents the results of a survey on current research on soil properties conducted by the Soil Mechanics and Foundations Division Committee on Properties of Soils and Soil Deposits. All pertinent information brought to the attention of the Committee in response to direct correspondence and Newsletter appeals has been included. Results of the inventory have been classified into fifteen major research areas. A brief description of each research topic is listed as well as the name and address of the organization doing the work and a cross reference to related research areas where appropriate. It is hoped that this listing may prove of value to those interested in the study of the engineering properties of soils.
