Abstract
Problems encountered in further development of the Hudson River watershed for a major augmentation of public water supply for the New York City Metropolitan Area are described. Several methods of increasing the supply are outlined. Additional upland storage with pumping from the lower Hudson River near Hyde Park is the least costly solution proposed.
