Abstract
A mathematical model has been developed to simulate the dissolved oxygen in a one-dimensional estuary using mass balances on finite sections. The solution requires integration on a computer. The determination of parameters is analyzed and the results of a verification on one year of data as well as several hypothetical control programs are presented graphically.
