Abstract
Various approximate as well as exact techniques for the analysis of folded plates were developed in the last few years. Simply supported as well as continuous folded-plate structures are thoroughly investigated by many authors. The Task Committee Report on Folded-Plate Construction (3) is one of the comprehensive publications, which gives an excellent resume of the available methods of analysis for simply supported folded plates together with an extensive list of references on the subject.
