Abstract
A summary of studies conducted to investigate the static and dynamic behavior of curved steel box-girder bridges is presented. Included are descriptions of methods of analysis, experimental studies, computer programs, design aids used in practice, research in progress, and recommendations for future research. It is concluded that significant work remains: (1)To develop practical design aids that are based on research to date; and (2)to convert existing computer programs for analysis into design-oriented programs.
