Properties of Steel for Use in LRFD

Abstract
Background and rationale is presented for selecting mean values and coefficients of variation of material properties from available experiments for use in first-order probability-based design; the following properties of structural steel are included: elastic moduli, yield stress, strain-hardening modulus.
