Comparison of Finite Elements for Plate Bending

Abstract
The purpose herein is to reconsider the earlier results for plate elements in a form which attempts to relate accuracy to computational effort. However, the qualitative analysis and the methods of comparison are also relevant to finite elements for types of problems other than plate bending.
