Determining Optimal Well Discharge

Abstract
One of the major expenses of ground water comes from pumping, which normally ranges from 60%-80% of the total ground-water delivery cost. A study conducted by Miles and Longenbaugh (5), which only considered the wire to water losses, showed that most wells were operating at least 30% less efficiently than possible.
