Weather Modification Regulation

Abstract
Weather modification regulations from current laws of 23 states were rated against features of legislation of a model law. States that have legislation for regulation of weather modification typically require a license of the activity, payment of a fee, and establish penalties for violation. Individual states vary widely in the degree to which their regulation incorporates the elements of the model legislation. Some states have no regulation at all. In other states regulatory procedures correspond closely to the model legislation.
