Compacted Loessial-Soil Canal Linings

Abstract
Bur of Reclamation study to determine changes in soil properties of canal linings and corresponding seepage characteristics; results of field and laboratory tests obtained on loessial type soil of compacted linings located in southcentral Nebraska; tests included field density, field seepage by ponding method, laboratory compaction, Atterberg limits, gradation, permeability, and freeze-thaw.
