Abstract
Pump test of artesian well in problem drainage area located adjacent to river is described; pressure conditions within aquifer vary with tidal and runoff fluctuation; calculations of aquifer transmissibilities using well discharge relationships are based on analysis of water level recoveries within tidal cycle; results indicate that pumping for drainage is not justifiable under these conditions.
