Abstract
When environmental programs and their ecological effects are properly presented to the appropriate agencies and the concerned public, transmission line permits will be forthcoming and utility line projects will proceed on schedule making it possible for the public to enjoy economical, reliable electrical service they have come to expect. Computer graphic printouts are useful in evaluating such environmental factors as topography, population distribution, land use, historical sites, zoning, natural scenic areas, transportation, recreation areas and water. Simple uncluttered structures must be selected which are esthetically pleasing and practical.
