Civil Engineering Aspects of the Dresden Nuclear Power Station
Abstract
Features of 180,000 kw station designed and built by General Electric Co; design consideration arising from layout of nuclear power equipment within vapor tight sphere are discussed; site, radiation and shielding, radioactive wastes; exchange system to remove decay heat; nuclear steam supply system, fuel building, and supporting facilities described.
