The map of the People’s Republic of China in Fig. 6 in the original article was downloaded from a website that is imprecise. Therefore, it should be replaced with the official version published by the Ministry of Natural Resources of the People’s Republic of China, found herein.
To preserve the published version of record, these details have been corrected only in this erratum.
