Abstract
An exact analysis is presented for the load-deformational behavior of twisting of hollow circular cylinders made of materials that creep. The hyperbolic sine law is used. Curves which relate the variables, twisting moment, twist rate per unit length, and maximum shear stress are provided. The results presented can also be applied to nonstationary creep under certain conditions.
