Modern Curvilinear Highway Location and Design

Abstract
Good highway locations are tailored to fit expected traffic and terrain; locator should have freedom of maneuver, using long sweeping curves and tangents in combination rather than excessively long tangents; roadways of divided highway need not be parallel to each other in either alignment or grade; projection of modern locations on accurate topography.
