Analytical Prediction of Natural Temperatures in Rivers

Abstract
The objectives of this paper are as follows. An analytical solution to the prediction of the natural temperature regime of a river is presented. This solution includes transient, convective, and dispersive effects. In many instances, dispersive effects are negligible and a simplified analytical solution is also presented for this case.
