Abstract
Description of practical automatic computer method of assigning passenger trips to proposed traffic facility; application of method to proposed subway systems in Metropolitan Toronto; where adequate origin-destination data are available, method can be used directly for rapid transit system, or with minor modifications for other types of traffic facilities, such as commuter lines or expressways.
