Biorhythm Cycles and Injury Occurrences
Publication: Journal of the Construction Division
Volume 107, Issue 1
Abstract
The correlation was determined between construction-related injuries and the particular biorhythm reading for the injured worker at the time of the accident. The time occurrence of 1,575 injuries was the primary focus, with the injuries occurring in 1978 to construction workers on a single project. Each injury was analyzed with respect to the relative position of the biorhythm cycles of the injured worker. Only a random distribution of injury occurrence was relative to biorhythm cycles. Further analysis considered the occurrence of injuries in relation to the time of the day and to the day of the week. There is apparently a correlation between injury occurrences and the daily, as well as weekly cycles.
