Involvement of Engineers in Public Affairs

Abstract
A discussion of the opportunities available to engineers in public affairs is presented. Specific suggestions are included for engineers interested in providing volunteer service in their local communities or in running for public office. Also, changes in engineering education to include material on the need for community involvement are recommended.
