Organizational Development for Small Consulting Firms
Publication: Issues in Engineering: Journal of Professional Activities
Volume 105, Issue 3
Abstract
Organizational development is a process to link people and technology in a system that improves output. Since small consulting firms have limited resources of time, money and energy, efficient operation is essential. To prevent daily crises from draining these valuable resources it is essential to have clearly defined long range goals. A sample outline is given to show how easy a process can be planned that will result in the development of goals. Without the help of outside management consultants, engineers can conduct a successful internal organizational development process in their own firm.
