Abstract
The story of the efforts of the San Francisco Section's Continuing Education Committee in putting on a lecture series. Some background is given pertaining to our activities, and then a detailed account of the production of the seminar or lecture series is given. In 1973, the Committee put on a program consisting of eight weekly 2-1/2-hour sessions, with an attendance of over 350 people. Despite the high costs of transporting speakers from as far as New York to participate in the program, the Committee was able to charge a fee of −30 to attend this program and still end up with a small profit.
