Yield Line Analysis of Square Footings

Abstract
The yield line theory has proved to be quite accurate in determining the strength of reinforced concrete slabs (5). It has also been found to be more accurate than other methods for analysis of square footings (3). However, computations by the yield line theory involve some effort.
