Abstract
Establishing a sound evaluation model is the key to guiding the sustainable development of urban transportation systems. Considering the diversity of the evaluation indicators and the ambiguity of the evaluation process, a new comprehensive evaluation method based on a multi-dimensional cloud model is proposed. First, a four-layer tower index system is established based on the TISP framework. Then, combining the numerical characteristics of cloud models related to the index system with the weights determined by AHP, multi-dimensional cloud models corresponding to each evaluation level are generated. The comprehensive determination degree belonging to each level can be obtained by inputting the actual data, and the assessment level is determined according to the principle of maximum certainty. Finally, an example of an urban transportation system sustainable development of Nanjing is given to verify the effectiveness and rationality of the method.
