Abstract
With the growth of cars ownership, fuel consumption and emissions are becoming more serious. Eco-driving is an effective way to reduce fuel consumption and emissions. The key problem is to evaluate the ecological behaviors of drivers, to improve their eco-driving skills. This paper evaluates the ecological skill of driving behaviors on the driving simulator. Ninety groups of behavioral data from 45 drivers were collected in this study. The driving scenario is divided into three road conditions (curves, slopes, and ordinary roads), and the frequency of non-ecological driving events is the evaluation indicator. Sixty data group are randomly selected to establish the evaluation model via TOPSIS. The rest 30 groups of data validate the model accuracy. The evaluation can provide the ecology level of driving behavior, and provide drivers with the basis to understand their behavior. This model lays theoretical and data foundation for the comprehensive promotion of eco-driving behavior.
