Abstract
Due to the implementation of the national rural revitalization strategy, rural roads have been vigorously developed. At the same time, the safety of rural roads is not optimistic. Aiming at the risk factors of mountainous rural roads and the high intensity of accidents, the weighted analysis method is used to analyze the four factors affecting the radius of the curve, the height of the embankment, branch roads, and longitudinal slope. In this method, by establishing the evaluation object, setting the weight coefficient, and the evaluation criteria, the comprehensive evaluation value of the weighted sum is finally obtained, and the rural road traffic facility safety assessment is performed. Using this evaluation method, the rural roads in mountainous areas of Gansu Province are used as examples to provide a basis for the construction and reconstruction of mountainous roads’ life safety protection projects.
