Abstract
The track of medium and low speed Maglev system is the so-called F-rail which is laid on guideway girders. The state of the F-rail affects the comfort and safety of the medium and low speed Maglev operation. Therefore, it is important to check the F-rail. However, the current F-rail detection mainly relies on manual detection. This method is not only inefficient but also requires a heavy workload. It is imperative to seek an accurate and efficient testing method. In this paper, a specialized structure laser detection system is designed. With the help of the classification algorithm and similar algorithm, measured sections were compared with typical sections in order to determine the shape of different sections of F-rail. The test was proved to be reasonable and effective through the experiment of Shanghai Lingang medium and low speed Maglev experimental base.
