Short-Term Expressway Traffic Flow Forecasting and Early Warning

Abstract
This paper focuses on releasing traffic safety early warning information based on short-term expressway traffic flow forecasting in order to enhance the drivers’ and administrators’ vigilance and reduce the incidence of traffic accidents. The chaotic forecasting method was used to predict short-term traffic flow, and the stability and accuracy of the forecasting was increased with the improved C-C algorithm. Based on such traffic flow forecasting, the traffic safety early warning was classified.
