Critical Analysis of Water Quality in the Guayas River Basin

Industrialization, an inevitable occurrence in developing nations, depends significantly on advanced engineering techniques being well balanced with the environment. This text details how the growth and development occurring in Guayaquil Ecuador compromised the environment and quality of life through the contamination of water resources. The efforts made to improve such problems are elaborated while focusing on the importance of engineering and water quality in a global society context. Throughout the text, observations and research are documented in a defined discussion of the measures taken to overcome the difficulties that the citizens of Guayaquil experience.
