Abstract
Automated People Mover System with guide wheels and links to steer tires has been used in airport passenger transportation systems. New steering system has no contact with guide tracks. The vehicle using the new steering system can steer tires by itself. It is possible to improve ride quality and reduce weight of steering devices by using new steering system. Also, the track structure is able to make simply. This paper shows the concepts of the new steering system for Automated People Mover System.
