This paper is being retracted due to its previous publication as “Development of Simulation-Optimization Model for Protection of Flood Areas,” Journal of Water and Soil (2013), Vol. 27, No. 3. Additionally, the coauthors of the original paper published in Farsi were removed and two new authors were added to the one published in the Journal of Irrigation and Drainage Engineering. No significant changes were made to the paper.
The corresponding author of the paper, Omid Bozorg Haddad, does not consent to this retraction.
