Acknowledgments

The discusser was involved with the geotechnical investigations for the design of the Transbay Transit Center while he was employed by Arup between June 2008 and March 2010 but departed the project before the design studies for the TTC were completed. After his departure the discusser received no information on the final design, construction, or performance of the project, other than what was reported in local and national news media.
