The format of Tables 2 and 4 published in the original paper needs to be modified for the sake of clarity. In particular, to specify the values attributed to some of the mechanical properties reported in Table 2, the table is modified as shown in the following.

With regard to Table 4, a change is introduced to clarify which values of nf and nw were used for each profile. Moreover, the footnote to Table 4, containing incorrect definitions of some symbols, is removed. The reader is referred to the “Notation” section for the correct definitions. The modified version of Table 4 is reported in the following.
Some typesetting errors were introduced into the footnote to Table 5. The definitions “F0,x, F0,y = amplitudes” and “nhw = half waves” are to be removed from the footnote to Table 5. Therefore, the correct footnote must read as follows:
“Note: see Table 4 for the correspondence between profile number and column length L.”
In the definition of symbol nhw reported in the “Notation” section, “semiwavelength and” must be deleted. The correct definition of symbol nhw is “nhw = number of half waves of the force distributions producing the L-imperfection.”
The following definition of subscript i needs to be added to the “Notation” section: “i=f, w, where f and w stand for flange and web, respectively.”
