Best Paper Awards

Publication: Journal of Transportation Engineering
Volume 137, Issue 7
Our goal in publishing papers is to make useful contributions to the state of knowledge and practice for transportation engineering. As part of our process, we recognize outstanding papers each year as selected by our Editorial Board. Only those papers receiving at least one award quality designation in the review process are considered by the Editorial Board. The role of the referees in selecting the best papers as well as in enhancing the quality of the Journal is absolutely critical. They are the pillars on which the reputation of the journal rests, and we all owe them our gratitude. This year, three Journal of Transportation Engineering papers received two ASCE awards as well as the editors’ choice outstanding paper award. A listing of past best paper awards and this year’s award recipients appears below. Congratulations to all our award winners!
