This preview manuscript has been retracted at the request of the authors. The starting point and the primary objective of this paper is to try to construct an efficient and simple algorithm to calculate the three-dimensional flow field in arbitrary complex topography, as stressed in the paper. Though this model is verified as presented in the paper to be somewhat suitable for simulation in regular river channels such as a bend flow simulation, it comes to a failure when used to study the flow fields in the solution of practical engineering problems, which were carried out after the paper was submitted to the Journal.
