Erratum for “Analysis of Characteristic Frequencies of Coupled Soil-Pile-Structure Systems” by Mahmoud N. Hussien, Susumu Iai, and Mourad Karray

The following corrections should be made to the original paper.

Fig. 1 in the original paper should be replaced by the corrected figure (Fig. 1).

The definition of the vector $\left[n_{L/U}\right]$ following Eq. (5) needs a minor correction. The corrected definition is as follows:

The vector $\left[n_{L/U}\right]$ = effective stress increment in the $d\sigma \prime$ direction.

In the paragraph after Eq. (6), the phrase “from and i of 1 to I” should be corrected as “from i of 1 to I….” The corrected sentence is as follows:
