It is my pleasure to announce that Paul A. Seaburg has been named by the Board of the Architectural Engineering Institute (AEI) to succeed me as the next editor of the Journal of Architectural Engineering (JAE). You will be reading more about Paul’s plans for the Journal and his views on the role of AEI in our industry in coming issues. After more than five years as editor, I am shifting my focus to other activities within ASCE, and I hope to have the opportunity to continue to interact with all of you in the future. I would like to thank all the authors, reviewers, readers, and JAE Editorial Board members and the staff at ASCE for their support, encouragement, and assistance during my time as editor.
Call for Papers—Special Issue on Residential Design and Construction
The Journal of Architectural Engineering has issued a call for papers related to all aspects of residential design and construction, to be published in a future special issue on the topic. Due to the expected widespread interest in this topic, interested authors are encouraged to contact Special Issue Editor Dr. Bohumil (Bo) Kasal, Professor and Hankin Chair of Residential Building Construction at Penn State ([email protected]) with any questions or ideas related to potential papers.
