Simulation Study of Bus Transit
Publication: Journal of Transportation Engineering
Volume 112, Issue 2
Abstract
A computer simulation model has been developed to evaluate the impacts of various transportation‐system management measures on the performance of bus transit. The model is applied to a major urban route to demonstrate the possibility of deriving inferences to aid practical managerial decisions. The methodology reported herein is adaptable, to cities in developing countries.
