Analysis of Plates with Right Angled Boundaries

Abstract

An analysis method is described and used to analyse the behavior of elastic plates with right angled boundaries subjected to laterally applied uniform and concentrated loads. The experimental verification of the stress analysis as conceived here and the comparison of the test results with the expected values from the proposed method is also included.
