Control of Water Levels in the Meuse River
Publication: Journal of Irrigation and Drainage Engineering
Volume 123, Issue 3
Abstract
This paper presents a water-level control system for the Meuse river, the implementation of which is planned to start in 1997. A simplified model is used for the tuning of and design of the controllers. To obtain a highly reliable control system, a decentralized control structure is used. The control system has been tested extensively in computer simulations, the test results of which are shown.
